Presenting the latest exclusive kit: Sarah Phillips 1860 by The Scarlett House!
This sampler is filled with beauty, from the brick home (and checkered walkway) to the gorgeous blooming flowers and the colorful floral border. Sarah was only 9 years old when she stitched this masterpiece in 1860. You'll find that she loved color and used a beautiful palette in her piece. We are fortunate to be able to reproduce it with our own stitches in 2026!
This kit includes the pattern, your choice of fabric count, your choice of floss, ad a wooden laser cut fruit bowl needle minder to match the fruit bowls in the pattern.
Stitch Count: 355 x 308
Fabric: We are offering the kit in the following counts, with Tephra by Cedar River Linen:
18 count Aida – Fat Half approx. 36" x 28” (actual design size: 20" x 18"*)
32 count - Fat Half approx. 27" x 36" (actual design size: 23" x 20"*) 36 count - Fat Half approx. 27" x 36" (actual design size: 18" x 20"*) 40 count - Fat Half approx. 27" x 36" (actual design size: 18" x 16"*)
46 count - Fat Quarter approx. 27" x 18" (actual design size: 16" x 14"*)
*The actual design size shown here does not include borders. Please add 2" on each side for your borders.
Threads: You can choose the hand-dyed cotton option (from Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works) or a silk option (from Needlepoint Silks). The thread quantity was based on stitching with one thread. The model was stitched with one strand of silk on 40 count fabric.
This is a pre-order and everyone who orders this will receive the kit. The initial orders will start shipping this week.
