Pavane For These Times by Long Dog Samplers

According to the pattern, a pavane is a majestic, processional dance for couples which was popular amongst the aristocracy of 16th and 17th century Europe.  Here we have groups of flowers lined up and ready to dance across your fabric.  The saying at the bottom is "Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you."
