Ode to Alvinia by Colorado Cross Stitcher

A gorgeous floral border surrounds this sampler, that is part reproduction, and part original. Alvinia stitched her piece in 1831 with that beautiful border, the alphabets and motifs. We added the blue house, and an original verse.

Ways to customize: Change the hair and eye color on the stitcher, leave the light on in one of the windows (your stitching room), add the cat and dog (or two cats, or two dogs), and stitch the verse "as day draws nigh" if you're a nighttime stitcher, or "as night draws nigh" if you're a daytime stitcher!
