Magdalena Outhwaite 1833 by Hands Across the Sea Samplers

Look at that bright vase of flowers at the bottom and the detailed pear trees!  The phrase at the top says "How sweet to wait upon the Lord, While he fulfills his gracious word, To seek his face and not in vain, To be belov'd and love again".  Magdalena's name, age, and the year are worked in cross stitch over one thread of linen, but if that's not for you, you could easily put your own initials orTTre the year over two if you wished.
