Harriet Hartland 1782 by Hands Across the Sea Samplers

It's apparent that Harriet loved beautiful colors, because this sampler is filled with them. Sweet flowers and urns, berry baskets, and quirky birds, and gradient evergreens. There are a variety of stitches used - regular cross stitch over one and over two, rice stitch, straight stitch, and double running stitches. What an impressive piece.
