Anna Tench 1819 by Hands Across the Sea Samplers

Anna's sampler features sisters (or twins?) who obviously love their cats. She included plenty of birds in the sampler to keep the cats entertained, and a beautiful border of swirly flowers. There is a small amount of over one stitching where Anna signed her name and date.
